Microsoft Campus Agreement (MSCA)

 

Program Description:

Microsoft Campus Agreement is an annual subscription licensing program for higher educational institutions. Licensed by counting people instead of computers, enabling the entire institution to use the involved products.

Available to: Campus and Students

Products Involved :

  • Office Professional (Mac and Windows)
  • Windows Professional Upgrades (Any Microsoft Windows version and the Mac OS are eligible for the upgrade through this program.)
  • Visual Studio (Currently for campus only.)
  • Microsoft Enterprise Server CALs (This is not the server license, only the CALs).

Program Description: Volume-based purchase program.

Available to:  UI departments

Products Involved:  All Microsoft titles not included in the Campus Agreement.

Program Description:  Annual subscription based purchase program for Microsoft developer tools.

MSDN Academic Alliance (MSDNAA)

 

Program Description:

The MSDN Academic Alliance is an annual membership program for departments in the areas of computer science, engineering, and information systems for research and instructional use only, no departmental business use is allowed.  Only students and faculty involved in the research and instruction are allowed the usage of this program.
