SAS provides the following programs and services to college, university, and community college professors/faculty and students to enhance the use of SAS analytics and solutions in teaching and research.

Scholars Digital Library of Analytics

Library consisting of five peer reviewed collections; data sets, courseware, research papers, coders corner and conferences. Instructors may use material from the library or submit material to be considered for inclusion.
Higher Education Consulting

Assistance in designing your curriculum –one course or a sequence of courses- to incorporate SAS in the classroom.
Academic Trainers Kits

Provides university instructors with free course materials, slides and data sets, for over 80 courses.
Course Development Mini-Grant Program
Faculty at accredited institutions can apply for software mini-grants. These grants provide SAS software for six months for the purpose of developing a course. For more information, contact: Catherine Gihlstorf, Curriculum Resources Manager (Catherine.Gihlstorf@sas.com)

This program supports student research projects in which SAS data analysis plays a major role and gives student participants the chance to present their research to a global professional audience. Selected students receive the opportunity to have their expenses paid to present their research at SAS Global Forum (formerly known as SUGI).
SAS Fellowship Program

A competitive program that provides a free, six month software grant for select students to use SAS for their research. Students interested in participating must submit an abstract about their research and a project plan.

SAS Student Groups on Campus
SAS will assist students in creating a user group on campus to connect SAS users in a classroom, academic program, or college/university. Students who would like to create a SAS User Group on campus will have access to a startup kit. This kit includes a charter template and a web page kit. In some cases, we can help arrange speakers to talk to the user groups. For more information, send an email message to: studentprograms@sas.com
