The Microsoft Campus Agreement gives higher education institutions the rights to run the licensed Software for a 12-month period. Our license period is renewed annually in September. This License agreement makes this licensing method available for some Microsoft software to the University of Iowa students. Student users will need to agree to/sign the Student Users Acceptance Form.

Listing of software included:

  • Office Enterprise (2007 versions of Microsoft Access, Communicator, Excel, Groove, InfoPath, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word)
  • Windows Upgrades
  • Office Mac Programs (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Entourage, Microsoft PowerPoint)

 How to Obtain: (Student ID or validation will be required)

University of Iowa Bookstore, Provide the signed Microsoft Student User Agreement to the UI Bookstore when purchasing (forms are also available at the UI Bookstore).  Most software is available for less than $12.

Students also have the option of having the ITS Help Desk load the software on their systems, students should be prepared to leave their system to have this done.
