Attention Graduating Students
The software that you purchased or obtained as a student may require action for you to continue usage. Please read this document carefully to see what your rights are. This does not include any shrink-wrapped boxed goods purchased through the UI Bookstore. Please refer to the licenses in those boxes or on the applicable CD to see what your rights are. Products provided by ITS (through your department, the UI Bookstore or the ITS Help Desk Download):
Microsoft Campus Agreement Student Media
Purchase the desired software from the University of Iowa Bookstore before you become ineligible. It is very important that you buy the software before this time to take advantage of the reduced pricing of this program. All purchases must be done before the end of finals week. After that you are no longer considered a current student and no longer eligible. Also remember that students are authorized to purchase only one copy of each software title.
If you leave the University of Iowa but do not graduate you are no longer entitled to use the Microsoft Campus Software and not eligible for the Microsoft Perpetual License. This is only available to you while you are an active student.
To continue usage you will need to obtain a perpetual license before you leave campus. Please download this license within two weeks of graduation. After that you are no longer considered a current student and no longer eligible.

Adobe Student Products and Mac OS
You have perpetual rights, you may continue using this software without further action. You will not be able to obtain this software through the University of Iowa after graduation, purchase what you need while you are still a student. This software is for use in the United States only, usage of this software outside of the United States is forbidden by the license agreement.
All Other Software
(Includes Red Hat RHN, SAS for Students and Symantec Antivirus)
The software use was for you as a University of Iowa student, you must cease usage as soon as you graduate.
