Act as software licensing coordinator and clearinghouse for associated questions.

Provide information on current or new software license programs.

Periodic review of software needs and funding.

Coordinate convenient distribution of software.

Coordinate (but not necessarily provide) the primary technical support for licensed software.

Act as the liaison for vendors, users, distributors and support persons.

Publicize software packages to the best of our ability to ensure best possible usage.

Ensure compliancy of the software license contracts.
You may need software that is already covered by a current program or maybe you are interested in a software package that is needed by others. Contact our office and we can give you current information on titles we have available or research the possibility of adding it to our program. All software offered through this program is under some license restrictions. By installing the software you agree to follow the license parameters. The software offered by this program is reviewed annually for volume of usage, cost of license and dependent on funding. Renewals are not always automatic and dependent on these factors.
