WebSurveyor:  Access Controlled Survey Options

An access controlled survey allows you to limit the recepients who are able to gain access to a survey by requiring them to log in.  In addition to controlling the access to the survey, you are able to monitor and track survey responses, as well as send reminder messages, follow up messages and thank you messages.  The information below will assist you with utilizing these tools.

Monitor Survey Responses:

In order to monitor your access controlled survey responses, click on the Mailing Lists link, and click on the E-mail Campaign that is associated with the survey you would like to track.  The information for that campaign will then be displayed, as shown below.  The list of recepients will be displayed on the right-hand side, and will track their progress on the survey, and note when the survey was viewed, as well as when the survey was completed and submitted.  If the recepient has not yet viewed or completed the survey, these fields will be left blank.

Below is an example of the items you can track in this view.  As you can see, there has been one response to the survey from recepients, and two have not yet viewed or responded to the survey:

Send a Reminder Message:

If you would like to send a reminder message to recepients who have not yet completed your survey, you can do so by following the instructions below.  This reminder message will only be sent to individuals who have received your invitation but have not yet submitted the survey.

  1. Click on the Reminder link.
  2. You will then be prompted create your message for the reminder message you are sending to recepients.  Add any information you wish to include in the message, and click the Send Now button.
  3. Put a checkmark in the Spam Policy box.
  4. Determine whether or not you want to exclude the message to addresses that previously bounced, and click Send Now.  Your reminder message has now been sent.
