Where do I find training?
UI Staff Development Training Videos - Staff Development and Training in cooperation with Information Technology Services, has videos on various software programs available for checkout. If you would like to learn more about a particular software program, you can now do so at a convenient time for you. Videos are two to three hours in length. Please call the Office of Staff Development (335-2687) for more information.

Books 24 x 7 and netLivrary - Available via the University of Iowa Libraries. Sites have over 2000 technical books that you can read on-line. These time out rather quickly, so be sure to keep the window active. It's a great way to preview a book before you buy it. (may require University of Iowa access only)
Microsoft Product Support Newsgroups - Collaborate with others who use our products, including Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs).
The MSDN Library is an essential resource for developers using Microsoft tools, products, and technologies. It contains a bounty of technical programming information, including sample code, documentation, technical articles, and reference guides.
Woody's Watch - Advice, tips and news from author and guru, Woody Leonhard, and friends. 6 list serves are a great way to keep up to date on issues with Microsoft products.
Books Office Support has found to be useful:
Special Edition Using Microsoft Access 2000 - by Roger Jennings, published by Que. Also books by same name for Access 97 and Access XP. If you really want to learn Access sit down with this book and start working through the examples. It's how we learned.
Microsoft Access Version 2002 Inside Out - by Helen Feddema, published by Microsoft Press.
