Outlook Anywhere/RPC Over HTTPs Configuration

For security reasons, direct access to the Hawkmail server is only available to those directly on the the campus network. To access Hawkmail from off of the direct campus network, which includes the University Residence Halls (ResNet), you must use a special secure connection to the University called Outlook Anywhere (Outlook 2007) or RPC over HTTPs (Outlook 2003). This can also be useful if you have a laptop and move between on-campus and off-campus access.

In order to use this connection, you must have Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista and Outlook 2003 or 2007. Also, a high-speed Internet connection is suggested (not recommended for use with a dial-up Internet connection).

Outlook 2007 - Outlook Anywhere

Outlook 2003 - RPC over HTTPs
