Syncing Your iPhone IMAP on Exchange
This assumes you have At&T service with your iPhone.
Note: You will not be able to delete messages from the iPhone using IMAP on Exchange.

Click on the Mail icon.

Click Other

Click Exchange

Fill in the following fields:
Name: Jane Doe
Address: your email alias (e.g., jane-doe@uiowa.edu)
Description: your email alias (e.g., jane-doe@uiowa.edu)
Incoming Mail Server
Host Name: email.uiowa.edu
User Name: HawkID (e.g., jdoe)
Password: HawkID Password
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
Host Name: email.uiowa.edu:587
User Name: HawkID (e.g., jdoe)
Password: HawkID Password - Click Save.
NOTE: if you see the following error: "Cannot get mail. Username or password is invalid for email.uiowa.edu. IMAP support must be enabled for Exchange", click Save again. You will see another message "This account may not be able to send or receive emails. Are you sure you want to save?" Click Save again.
