Hawkmail Information
New Hawkmail Users
Accessing Hawkmail via the web -- use email.uiowa.edu to access your Hawkmail email. Outlook Web Access (OWA) general information can be found here
Accessing Hawkmail with a desktop client -- use Outlook, Entourage or another supported client
Accessing Hawkmail from off-campus -- use Outlook Anywhere or RPC over HTTPs
Changing your routing address: If you have changed your routing address to an off-campus email address (e.g., Hotmail, Gmail, etc.) we encourage you to change it back to your Hawkmail address. If someone using Hawkmail sends you a message (and you have a Hawkmail account), the message will go to your Hawkmail account, not your routing address. Therefore you must check both your Hawkmail account and the mailbox of your routing address. Hawkmail also gives you access to calendaring, sharing calendars, tasks, a global address book, and more. Click here for more information on the routing address and forwarding.
