Mass Mail Approval Policy

Persons wishing to send a large volume mailing must obtain permission from the appropriate Dean, Director, or Departmental Executive Officer.

Recognized student organizations wishing to send a large volume mailing must obtain permission from the Vice President for Student Services. Student organizations may send one mass e-mail per semester through the University mass e-mail system.

Mass mailings include a standard notice indicating the administrative unit(s) granting permission. The category keyword is included in the Subject line, to allow the receiver to adjust, if desired, his or her personal mail filters for future mailings.

A signed Approval Form (requires Acrobat Reader) must accompany any request for a mass mailing.
